I’m Bill, and this is Retirement Life Bill.
I started this site to write about retirement the way it actually feels — not as a finish line, but as a long stretch of adventures, questions, and ordinary days that still matter. You’ll find my views on life here, along with pictures and videos from trips and the paths I’m on now.

A lot of that journey shows up on the court and on the trail. Pickleball keeps me sharp and social. E-biking gets me farther than I used to go on two wheels. Hiking clears my head and reminds me to pay attention. When I travel, I try to bring back more than souvenirs — a few honest notes, some photos, and the occasional video so you can come along.
I’m not selling a perfect retirement. I’m sharing what I’m learning as I go: what works, what’s fun, what’s harder than the brochures admit, and what still makes me curious about tomorrow.
If you’re planning retirement, newly into it, or just love the outdoors and a good story, you’re welcome here. Thanks for reading.
